Wow, very cool! A new anime adaptation of Parasyte by Hitoshi Iwaaki is coming out in Japan this October! If you’re a long-time manga fan, you’re familiar with this horror manga series about a teen whose right hand becomes a host to an shape-shifting alien from outer space. Originally serialized in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine from 1990-1995, Parasyte was one of the first series serialized in TokyoPop’s oddly eclectic manga anthology magazine, MixxZine. Del Rey Manga later republished the series in double-sized omnibus editions from 2011-2012. Post by Parasyte.
