San Diego Comic-Con 2014: Katsuya Terada Draws The Monkey King

Manga artist and illustrator Katsuya Terada came to San Diego Comic-Con 2014 and wowed fans with his astonishing quick-draw skills. He had a few signing events at the Dark Horse Comics booth, to promote both his Monkey King manga and his all-new art book in English, Dragon Girl and Monkey King, from Dark Horse Comics. See a preview of the book at DarkHorse.com.

Terada also signed books at the Last Gasp booth, to promote his two art books from PIE Books, distributed by Last Gasp: Katsuya Terada 10 and Erotic Engineering. You can order both books directly from Last Gasp too.

Missed him at Comic-Con, and live in Southern California? You’re in luck! Katsuya Terada will be signing copies of Dragon Girl and Monkey King at Giant Robot 2 in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 3, from 2 – 5 pm. You can pre-purchase your copy of the book now, and get it signed at the event.

Want even MORE Terada awesomeness? Mark your calendar and get ready for his next solo show at Giant Robot/GR2, from November 15 – December 3.

Plus, just for fun, here’s more photos of his terrific sketches he did for fans at the Last Gasp and Dark Horse booths.
